Marge photographed our San Francisco City Hall wedding when on short
notice we decided to elope from the East Coast in January. From the
first contact to delivering the finished photos, she was delightful to
work with. Besides her calm professionalism in the midst of chaos, and
her eye for detail, I love that she has a great sense of humor and
captured our playful personalities. And she is efficient! She really
knows San Francisco City Hall and the vicinity, and where to get the
most beautiful, flattering shots of couples in a short time frame.

She was fantastic! We were organizing our City Hall wedding from
England and so needed to feel we could trust the photographer to do a
good job based on her online portfolio. Neither of us enjoy having our
picture taken and so I wanted the more photojournalistic shots.
Marge seemed to fit the bill perfectly and at such a good rate compared to other photographers I had seen, too good to be true!
She was great with communication and any questions or requests I had, she responded quickly to.
On the day itself, I was very nervous! Marge texted me early on to let me know that she was on her way offering reassuring words and letting us know where to meet her. Straight away she got to work, there were a lot of
posed/semi natural ones, they turned out really nicely.
It was all very
surreal and the comedy of it all (to us) settled our nerves and made the
time waiting for our slot much more bearable. Afterwards, she posted the discs to us which arrived shortly after
we got home and then again wrote to us to assure us that the photo book
was on it's way which I thought was very thoughtful.
Overall, I would not hesitate to book Marge again. We have lots of beautiful pictures to remember our day.

I got married at SF City Hall, and Marge advertises for this on her
site. I didn't want to spend a lot of money, and only had a small amount
budgeted for photos. Her prices are right and she contacts you
immediately once you've contacted her.
Marge puts a lot of effort into her work and she is very organized
and precise about details that you wouldn't even think about, such as an
itinerary that you may need for your ceremony. Marge wrote up a precise
itinerary for me for all I would need that day and emailed it to me -- so
I wouldn't forget anything!
She doesn't waste any time getting down to business and she is
thorough and she sent the pictures to me right away. She is honest too. I
only wanted an hours worth of pics and she didn't give me the full hour
and wanted to deduct some of her fee, but my husband and I insisted
that she take the full amount for all of her hard-working efforts.
Her pictures tell a story of your event. Her pictures flow and
aren't stuffy studio pictures. She did a good job and I'm very happy I
found her on Craigslist where she advertises. Now I have some lovely
memories of my day and I didn't have to spend a small fortune! I would
recommend Marge wholeheartedly and if I ever need another photo shoot, I
will contact Marge.
I love my photos! And to think I originally thought about taking one or
two good ones. I selected about 30 that I absolutely loved and emailed
them to my family and friends. Just gorgeous with the City Hall back
drop!

found Marge just before we were about to book with this other photographer who was charging more than three times what Marge was charging.
Marge was very professional, very friendly and put us and our friends and

have been recommending Marge to people. The deluxe photo book we ordered looks
so professionally made, it looks like one of those expensive wedding books! We've

I feel proud of myself
for having found Marge. I spent hours and hours looking for a quality wedding
photographer I can afford. I painstakingly spent hours online, asking friends,
joining different wedding forums and encountered lots of disappointments with
the photographers out there who were charging thousands of dollars and only for a few
hours of coverage! A friend of mine suggested I go on Craigslist. And there I
found her. It was very easy to get in touch with her. I sent her an email and
left my number and she replied right away! She took really beautiful
photographs of my wedding (me getting ready, my entire ceremony & my
reception) and all for just $900.00! I told her I would refer her to my friends
and spread the word. I guess she has really low overhead costs so she passes on
those savings to brides & grooms with a tight budget (like me). =)
